Ride your own ride, within yourself and your abilities.
See Rule 1.
Each rider is responsible for his/her own interpretation of, and following, the vehicle code. This means don’t break the rules just because someone else does. Be comfortable.
Rest stops are for gathering. The open road is for riding. Don't ride above your head just to catch up. Understand where the stops are so if you lose sight of the group you can find it. We will wait for you.
Be courteous at difficult intersections and turns. Try to let the bike behind you see you make the turn.
If you have trouble, pull over and SIGNAL to a passing rider that you are either IN TROUBLE or OK. Don’t be afraid to ask for assistance.
If you see someone pulled over, try to ascertain WHO it is and, of course, if he’s having trouble, find out what’s up. Report to the ride leader at a rest stop. This is especially crucial if you are the last in line.
If you decide to go off and do your own thing, let the ride leader know, or pull over and tell a passing rider. Remember, someone WILL wait for you.
