For sale: 2000 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R.
One of the top-rated supersport bikes of its era. Still sold new as the ZZR-600 lightweight "sport tourer" (with a lower quality shock).
Relatively relaxed ergonomics, generous fairing and great mirrors make it suitable for the street. Snarling Kawi motor and predictable handling make it a fine track toy.
One nice thing about Kawasaki is they are very easy to work on. The fairings come come off/on easily and all parts (rad fill, water pump, etc.) are easy to reach.
Specs:
- 9797 miles
- new Pilot Power tires
- recent major service including valves, oil, plugs, brake/coolant flush
- carb jet adjustment for smooth powerband
- two sets of seats: red/black (shown) and all black
- two sets of fairings (mounted set is very good, spare set is factory fresh)
- steel braided brake lines
- Zero Gravity tinted double-bubble windscreen
- Powerlet (BMW) outlet
- rear ride height shimmed for quicker cornering
- passed tech inspection twice at ZoomZoom trackdays
Selling because I bought it primarily for the track and I simply don't go often enough to warrant a dedicated track tool
Asking $4000 obo.
