Death Valley - April 2016

Another outstanding ride. Great ride and lots of fun - even with the sandstorm the afternoon of day one in DV.

Afternoon Haboob (look it up)

Adventuresome ride today.
Snow all the way thru South rim, until we reached Cameron, hwy 89 where we were now in a dust storm.
Still windy here in Mexican Hat, so Swinging steak is closed-due to wind.
We r dinning at bottom of hill, Old Bridge grille.
Easy walk down.
Will see if we can make it up after dinner.

Swinging Steak closed due to high winds

Ed Friedrichs Ride Report
Wind was pretty fierce heading north toward Las Vegas from Kingman. Instead of going to Tonopah tonight (where the wind was at 44 MPH and the temperature had dropped to 41, we are staying in Beatty.

And yes, there is a Montgomery Street in Beatty,NV

Rob Thull Ride Report
today we had every kind of riding imaginable.
Huge amounts of heavy snow, hail, rain, thunder, lightning, sandstorms and very very High Winds
+5 minutes of sunshine

Extended Ride Day 3 Road Report

Rob Thull Road Report
We're having our "Bar car" event and we just realized that Amaury routed us over mountain passes with massive amounts of snow and into storms of death and then bailed out of the ride.
Yet we still miss you,
Best, Rob

Steve Hall Road Report
Today much better. Only light snow and rain, at least 20 minutes of sunshine.
Pitts and I rode 95 to Hanksville, the dual sport boys took 261 over Dugway.
The adventure continues. Moab tonight, Arches tomorrow.
Have fun and ride safe,
Steve
