From Ride Leader Rob Thull:

Distinguished MSMC members,

Carmel ride is happening Friday, March 11 through Sunday, March 13.

Bring your significant other for this great opportunity to enjoy a great ride and the beauty of the Monterey Peninsula

The ride routes will be most beautiful!
The primary hotel will be this Coachmen’s Inn in the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea

Here's the general ride plan:
Breakfast from 8 to 9 AM at Nick’s Cove on Rockaway Beach in Pacifica.
The ride will include many great roads on the peninsula (Tunitas Creek, LaHonda Road, Alpine Rd., Empire Grade, Etc.
Lunch is planned for Davenport then we would head down towards Pebble Beach and ride 17 Mile Drive before getting to the Coachmens in at approximately 3:30 or 4 PM.
Anne and I will host cocktails and heavy hors d'oeuvres at our Pebble Beach home from 5 PM until 8 PM.
Saturday is planned to include some great remote roads up and around Carmel Valley with lunch likely at the Baja Cantina.
We may then do a cruise over a Laureles Grade Road and a loop around the perimeter road of Laguna Seca race track.
We will then head back for a bar car event at the Coachmens from about 5 PM until 6:15 PM. And then at about 6:30 PM we would head to the Vesuvius upper deck for cocktails wine and a casual dinner.
On Sunday the plan is to return back to the Bay Area at your leisure.

I look forward to hopefully seeing many of you on the ride.
