Here's another picture album from the trip (200+ pics), from Charlie and Wendy. This link is at Snapfish, and requires setting up an ID (less than 2 minute process).

Thumbs up High Alpine adventure

Glad to see you two had such a great time in the Alps. Peggy and I have done it twice now and both times it seemd like a totally different ride.
We gave up trying to navigate the routes. We just let the tour guides take us on their favorite roads and chase them. You are right about Christian, he is a wickedly fast rider, fun to follow and sets a quick pace.
Enjoyed your pictures, I have similiar ones on my computer from our last trip. We are looking towards another alps tour in the future. Seeing your photos makes me want to return for another dose of the European riding experience.

See you two in the Gold Country, or the LA ride?

Have fun and ride safe,

Steve

Kelly Fairchild just sent me a CD with all of his pictures from the trip, another 482 of them in fact. Here's a link to a gallery of all of those pictures up on Smugmug.

Never! Marmots are gentle, furry creatures who just want to frolic in the mountains and eat herbs, berries, and chocolates thrown to them by tourists like me.

I'm not sure what we were looking at... Wendy must have gotten us at an odd moment.

I'm Published!

Note the photograph on the opening page of the article! The picture was taken by me! I was on the back of our bike taking pics of the red BMW bike we were folloiwng because Alex said it was a neat BMW and wanted to get shots of it... Here's the picture from our gallery...

If you read Alex's post above on the ride report, you'll note that we eventually passed the guy and I got a blurry picture of us zipping past him! Here's the blurry pic...

Anyway... pretty cool..
